The PLM1350 series polarizing microscope is an essential instrument for research and identification of birefringent substances by utilizing the polarization characteristics of light. It has a wide range of uses in medicine, such as observing the crystalline inclusions of teeth, bones, hair, and living cells, structural details of nerve fibers, animal muscles, plant fibers, etc., and analyzing the degeneration process. It is also possible to observe the fine structure of the crystallization state of various salts in inorganic chemistry that cannot be seen in natural light
